A set of 3 vendors to be used for selling ship slates. I created these to avoid overpopulating the world with loose boxes and slates. There is one in each of the main cities: New Atlantis, Akila and Neon. In Akila and Neon, they are behind the ship services building, in New Atlantis the vendor is across the ramp (to the left) from the regular ship vendor. All slates need to be read in order to claim the ships.
I cannot leave them without any ships at all by default of course. They will sell you an upgrade to the Razorleaf once you have taken over for the Mantis in a given universe. There are A, B, and C class variants available, you can only claim each ship once.
There is also a special Starborn version that will become available at NG+5. The Starborn version is a highly enhanced C class ship (if you got to NG+5 without investing in piloting I’m sorry, but you really should get on that). It is not modifiable but includes all the special equipment you could want as well as a full complement of special Starborn weaponry. The enhanced engines and Starborn weapons will unlock for use on other ships once you hit NG+10 (along with some other requirements), full details are on the slate in game.
Where this goes in your load order should not matter, but I cannot say for sure as it is not feasible to test that against the enormous
number of mods out there. Just move it around if there seems to be an issue.
Requires: Weird Wonders – This mod is required for the vendors that will sell the ship slates.
