DT-series Sentry Droid – Standalone Model A Replacer V1.0

This is a re-release (with permission) and update of Radiclown’s standalone DT Sentry Droid mod. The replacer had since been removed and incorporated into Radiclown’s other, more extensive Star Wars overhauls like UC Empire. This re-release is mostly for people who just want the security robot replacer, without the other Star Wars-related changes.

I’m personally not running any other Star Wars mods in Starfield, but I do like the look of the DT-series sentries. I don’t think they look out of place in Starfield, and look more intimidating for security robots than the security variant of the Model A.

OPTIONS
There are a few different versions and options to choose from.

◇ A “no-plugin” replacer, from version 1.1 of the original mod. This is just a straight mesh and texture replacer, so no plugin limits to worry about, and can be removed at any time. It replaces the standard security “police” Model A robot, and has been updated for the required geometry filename changes that occurred in May 2024.

◇ A “UC star” skin mod that removes the Star Wars logo on the shoulders and replaces it with the UC star emblem, and also changes the torso and arms to white. If like me you just want this replacer for aesthetics and don’t want anything explicitly Star Wars in your Starfield, this is for you. Install this after the above “no-plugin” replacer and overwrite the two textures.

◇ Version 1.6 of the original mod, but saved in the Creation Kit. I’ve removed the blueprints dependency from the plugin, reverted the name changes, saved it as a small master, and packed the meshes and textures into the appropriate archives. This version replaces other combat Model A robots in addition to just the security ones, and uses 4 different skins for them (see images). The 4 skins are also available to be crafted from an industrial workbench, so you can use them with Vasco; just have him equip them, like you’d have a human NPC equip clothes.

◇ The untouched final version 1.6 of the original mod, if you don’t want to use the CK version above. Otherwise identical.
