- Replace vanilla files instead of create a new one
- Change all metal impact particle files
- Change this mod’s name to “HPE Better Metal Impact Effects”
HPE: Hal Particle Effect. I use new particle files to change some vanilla visual effects to make them better.
QA:
Q: At some occasions, sparks don’t have collision.
A: I found an StarfieldCustom.ini setting.

I increased the value to 1024. There are more collision sparks now!

Q: Does this mod change all sparks?
A: No, this mod only changes sparks when projectile bullets hit metal material. A very small mod.
Q: Does it changes other vanilla particle effects?
A: No, I use my own particle effect files. It doesn’t change any vanilla effects.
Q: Loose file version?
A: As far as I know, particle files should be packed in ba2 files. I can’t offer loose file version.
Q: Will this mod cost much performance?
A: Nope. It only cost about 12Kb memory, similar with vanilla one.
Q: Will you make an all-in-one ver?
A: Maybe. There are many materials in Starfield. I will make the version after I make them all
