This mod aims to bring new life into John’s equipment, utilizing both texture and model edits to match his attire to the classic designs of RDR1. Maintaining consistency with other visual elements of the game, these edits will fit seamlessly in-game while giving a breath of fresh air for RDR1 fans. Currently, the following has been done:
John has an all-new gunbelt and holster, along with a functional leg-strap to complete the look. It is meant to combine his RDR1 Gunbelt with parts of Arthur’s Holster, as to give more impact to American Venom by making John draw his holster from Arthur’s Holster that he salvaged.
The ammunition belt has been replaced with a recreation of RDR1’s Wolf belt, standardized to work with the vanilla pants models. The Buckle’e Engraving was done entierely by Buetsome, creator of Legend Of The West john face mod.
The detailing on his hat has been altered to reflect the first game, and his signature slashes have been restored.
John’s NPC Gambler hat has been replaced with a cleaned up and newer version of his RDR1 hat, meant to link his 1899 and 1907 appearance.

INSTALLATION:
Extract the folder from the zip file, then drag and drop the .ASI file into your RDR2 directory and the “Bakou’s RDR1 Equipment” folder into your lml folder.
