Inventory (Re)Balance for Origins

Since the Foundation update, it always bothered me that slots of every inventory types can stack up to 9999 resources in Normal mode. Why should general slots hold as much as cargo slots or base containers ? I was happy when I finally found the right files to correct this.

This mod rebalances inventory slots in Normal Mode to be 10x more than in Survival mode for resources, and 2x more for items.
Also gives a full refund on deconstructing technologies in Normal mode.

Here is a table comparing vanilla and modded slot sizes:

Note that the slot size of an item depends on its own stack size. In vanilla, multiply the slot size by:

1000 for Projectile Ammunition.
4 for tiny items, including Navigation Data.
3 for small items, including Salvaged Data.
2 for medium items, including Metal Plating and Di-hydrogen Jelly.
1 for large items, including Glass and trade goods, and many crafting components.

You can find many mods on Nexus that increase stack size of items. But keep in mind that you can’t stack more than the max amount limit.

A version of the mod with 2x the resources stack sizes (500/1000/2000) is also available. Only use one main file at a time!

This mod can’t be used along any other mod modifying the following original files :

METADATA\GAMESTATE\DEFAULTINVENTORYBALANCE.MBIN
METADATA\GAMESTATE\DEFAULTINVENTORYBALANCESURVIVAL.MBIN

Includes a .lua script to merge it with other mods using AMUMSS.
