Realistic Army Uniforms – Blue and Khaki Combo Plus New Nutmeg Canvas V1.04

Realistic Army Uniforms - Blue and Khaki Combo V1.03

Updated Army Soldier Model – Adds more a realistic version of the Blue and Khaki army uniforms seen in game

I recreated the Army Uniforms to resemble how they actually looked. The Blue Uniform was used in the American Indian Wars as well as the Spanish American War. The Khaki Uniform was introduced to US soldiers in the Spanish American War in 1898 though not all soldiers were issued them however, in 1884 some soldiers were issued a Nutmeg Canvas Duck Uniform similar to Khaki long before the Spanish American War Started.

Real Uniform Regulations I based the mod on:
-During the Late American Indian Wars US Enlisted soldiers wore a Dark Blue Wool Fatigue Blouse (Jacket) or a Dark Blue Wool Heavy Shirt with Sky Blue Wool Trousers, Some Soldiers were also issued a Nutmeg Cotton Duck Blouse and Trousers in 1884
-During the Spanish American War soldiers could have been issued the uniforms worn prior or a Khaki Cotton Blouse (Jacket) with Khaki Cotton Trousers
Leg Stripes for different Ranks:
-Corporals wore a stripe down the legs 1/2″ in diameter
-Sergeants wore a stripe down the legs 1″ in diameter
-Officers wore a stripe down the legs 1 1/2″ in diameter
Branch of Service Colors: (For Leg Stripes, Chevrons, Shoulder Tabs, Standing Collars and cuffs etc.)
-Artillery used Red
-Cavalry used Lemon Yellow up until 1886 and switched to Dark Yellow
-Staff Officers used Dark Blue with the 1898 khaki however, they did have black shoulder boards for Blue Wool and Nutmeg Duck for uniforms starting in 1872 and stopped with the Khaki Uniforms.
-Infantry used Dark Blue (Sky Blue for Officers) up until 1885, switched to White and then switched to Sky Blue in 1902 (Note Sky Blue was also used for Nutmeg Canvas Uniforms since 1884 when Nutmeg Canvas was first issued)

Installation Guide:
-Download Required Mod Files/ This Mod File and Open File
-Drag lml folder into the games directory
-Voilà You’re done! Enjoy!

Requires: Lenny’s Mod Loader

Help:
|For those of you that do not know where to locate your game directory to drag the lml folder into|
-Those that own this game on Steam go to your Steam Library > Right Click on Red Dead Redemption 2 > then select Manage > Browse Local Files
-Those that own this game on Rockstar Games Launcher go to Settings > Look at My Installed Games in bottom left side and select Red Dead Redemption 2 > Scroll down to View Installation Folder > Open

|Though rare sometimes for the first installation you may need to relaunch the game after loading in if the peds are not changed|

Later Changes I would like to make soon past Version 1.03
Add a large variation of faces, hair, gear etc. As of now there is only one face/beard model
Add expressions (Overweight, Underweight, Average, Big or small Neck ,Stomach , Shoulders, etc.)
Add Rank Chevrons (I currently do know how to properly do it)

Other:
For those that would like to roam around as a US Soldier use a mod trainer such as Rampage Trainer for Red Dead Redemption 2 and switch your player model to mp_male to get full unrestricted movement/weapon aiming of the player character. Remember to save your game before you do that.

For Rampage Trainer users that wish to change the player ped to the US Soldier:
Open Rampage Trainer Menu in game > Player > Wardrobe > Model Changer > Search Peds > Type in mp_male and select it in humans. You can select any outfit I made from there. (I also included rain ponchos and two Boer War Outfits at the very end of the outfit stack) If you spawn them in you will not see it as it has to be selected manually) Enjoy! 🙂
