Rabbit's Real Lights Neon

A new Lighting Overhaul for Neon. Adds over 250+ hand placed lighting sources to get rid unlit fake lights and create a more realistic lighting design overall. Enjoy your Aurora with real colors and godrays!

This mod is still in beta as i have two “bugs” to investigate:
Engine limitation has it that depending on the viewing angle there is a fixed amount of light sources rendered which cause flickering in distance lights. If you have any suggestions or actually solutions, feel free to comment on this mod!

As it is a beta i recommend to do a back up and (like in the old days) activate this plugin while you are in an interior cell (My mod only modifies exterior cells so ELFX users are fine). This mod also adds npcs to enhance the ambience and if loaded wrong it can cause corrupt save games when deactivated wrongly!

My recommendation would be: Go into space and save the game -> activate/deactivate the mod -> reload savegame -> visit neon 🙂

This mod makes the following changes:
Adding roughly 300 handplaced light sources
Lighting the landingpads
Lighting the catwalk
Reodne the entrance
Remove dunrealistic sources and non-existing light objects
Enhance visibility of neon exterior with tweaked lights and added light sources and npcs(!) for realism (Cause why are there only 3 guards at the gate to neon????)
More to come (fishery etc…)

Important notes:
For any feedback or errors, please leave it in the comment section
Be aware that the engine does not turn off the lighting at daytime, so potatoe pcs might be having a hard time
Any LUT or reshade will work with this mod
Load this smart master mod at the end of your load order

For best visual results I highly recommend to download my init settings.
