This mod lets you place a ladder that connects any two habs vertically at any given set of two vertically-aligning attach points that you want. Yes, I’m working on a separate mod for doors.
You must use a ship building tolerance mod with the value set to -5 or less.

This mod replaces the Porthole Top and Porthole Bottom including on NPC ships that use them, so you will encounter messed up habs in the game.
Installation
Please just use a mod manager to handle it. The files just have to be extracted to the
main game folder.
How to use the mod to prevent the game from generating ladders in places that you don’t want- under certain conditions.
