Real Third-Person ADS V1.0

Real Third-Person ADS V1.0

Replaces the camera movement used for Third-Person ADS with a Real FOV based Zoom.

I’ll let you in on a secret. When you ADS* in Starfield, the camera doesn’t actually zoom-in, it just moves forward.
This mod changes that.
With this mod, the FOV* will decrease when you ADS (zoom-in) AND the camera won’t move closer.

* (ADS = Aim Down Sites FOV = Field of View)

Features
– Replaces the camera movements used for Third-Person ADS with a real FOV based Zoom.

Installation: BOTH PARTS REQUIRED

PART 1 – Removes Base Game “Zoom”

– Install with Vortex / Mod Manager.
OR
– Unzip the file and copy the data folder to your mod folder “Documents/My Games/Starfield” OR your game directory.

PART 2 – Adds Real FOV Based Zoom

– Unzip the file, and copy StarfieldCustom.ini to your mod folder “Documents/My Games/Starfield”
OR

– Open your preferred RealADS folder and copy the text file inside to your main game folder (Where Starfield.exe is located)

OPTIONAL STEPS

Customization – Edit your RealAds.txt file to change the FOV or Transition Speed. (More Detail in File)

Multiple BATs – If your INI already uses the line “s Starting Console Command = bat ModName” view the included instructions file for an example of how to combine them. (Format would be wrong if I pasted it here).

Edit Camera Positions – If you want more camera position options check out my other mod Unified Camera.

setgs “b3rdPersonAimUseWeaponFOV:ThirdPersonCam” “0”
with
