True Cumulative Module Based Ship Crew Capacity V1.0

Have two Habs with 6 Crew Stations but Crew Capacity is still capped at 5? Not a problem anymore…

About this mod:

A simple mod that unties Spaceships’ Crew Capacity from the “max available crew occupation count”.

Comprasion:

Vanilla:
Crew capacity (“Max Crew” or “Total Crew Capacity”) is capped at the maximum available crew job count.
(note: Crew Job Count = Reactor’s Crew Capacity + Weapons’ Crew Capacity + Shield’s Crew Capacity).

Consequence: since these ship parts usually have 0.25 – 1 Crew Capacity, the ship’s Total Crew Capacity may remain pretty low.

Mod:
Crew capacity matches the Crew Stations count of all ship parts.
(i.e., Total Crew Capacity = Cockpit’s Crew Stations + every Hab’s Crew Stations).

Consequence: this makes it possible to plan the ship’s Total Crew Capacity while building ship Habs (e.g., two 2×2 Stroud Battle Stations alone would provide 12 Crew Stations). Also, it allows ships to have much more (but reasonable/lore-friendly number of) crew members..

Changing a Stroud Brig 2×2 (No Crew Stations) to Stroud Battle Stations (6 Crew Stations)
increases the ship’s Total Crew Capacity from 9 to 15
(without the mod, this ship’s Total Crew Capacity would be capped at 5 by the way)

Notes: if the Crew count doesn’t change right away upon modifying the ship, just press Previous/Next Ship then go back (the ship’s stats sent to the UI should be refreshed by now).
