This mod aims to turn any weapon into a god-tier legendary with a few clicks & keystrokes using a simple bat file..
Instructions:
Always save your game before using any mod in case something goes wrong.
1. Download and drag ‘upgrade.txt’ into Starfield’s root folder.
Ex: Local Disk (C:) > XboxGames > Starfield > Content
2. Load game and drop any weapon you want to upgrade on the ground.
3. Make sure the weapon is in view and press the ‘~’ key.
(note, this will disable achievements unless you have a working achievement enabler mod installed)
4. Click on the weapon so that its ID shows up on the screen. May need to scroll with the mouse to find it if you’re having trouble. It’ll be something like WEAP (XXXXXX)
5. Once the weapon ID is on-screen, type ‘bat upgrade’ and hit enter.
6. Pick up your new ledendary!
I chose double magazine capacity, increased damage from aiming, and shattering to cut through enemy armor (three of the best perks in the game). Additionally, the file adds the high powered weapon internal mod (which isn’t always available, but locks the mod category) and an enhancer command which will continually increase the damage of the weapon each time this bat file is run on it.
If you don’t want high powered, simply repeat steps 1-4 and then type ‘rmod 00133a74’.
