KNOWN ISSUES

Cinematic camera (camera that focuses strictly on the target) doesn’t remember your View state. So after cinematic camera finishes its work, it will return to 3rd person view no matter what. Nothing can be done at this point. GetCameraState() or similar SFSE functions don’t exist at this point.

Objects can obstruct the view while in cinematic camera (camera that focuses strictly on the target). Nothing can be done at this point.

Target tracking component in cinematic camera (camera that focuses strictly on the target and tracks its final movements) that work in F4llout NV simply doesn’t want to work here (still investigating though). Guys at Bethesda borked something again, or it just need different implementation for Starfield.

Visual (IMADS) and Audio (WWise) Effects use vanilla forms. New IMADS can’t be created at the moment and new sounds can’t be added without replacing existing ones. We need to wait for the official toolkit or when SF1Edit unlocks/uncodes more features.

Vortex, MO2 and NNM (From Github) Managers Friendly.
But StarfieldCustom.ini still must be put/edited manually. Please refer to Installation section in the sticky post.

(+)Pros: checks worlds time dilation (slow motion) changes from abilities, items and etc (like for Aurora for example), so they not interfere with Starvegas own time dilation effects, which can cause quirky behavior if both effects trigger at the same time.

Cinematic Camera:
————– Finetuned camera behavior. Now it should not clip into targeted NPC at the ending phase.
————– Added more effects for the final blow. Should feel more impactful. As always they can be disabled with conf. book.
————– Added height position checks. Still not perfect, but now works better when target is higher / lower than the player.
————– Add additional checks and mechanism for properly restarting Killcamera quest when needed. This will guarantee that quest will be functional all the time.
————– You can move (horizontally only, minor limitation) your view while in cinematic camera. Now you can see where your prey catapulted from beginning to the end.
————– Overall more polished version.

(!) Despite the tweaks, cinematic camera sometimes still can clip through objects, ground and walls. It is not fixable, though with v2.0.0 it drastically lowered.
