Hey, space truckin’ ain’t easy. You deserve some recognition. Earn “Space Bucks” by completing the standard mission board cargo, passenger and supply missions. Staryard supply missions also. Buy unique items with Space Bucks. The more missions you do the more they are worth!
You want it all?
You gotta haul!
Overview:
Starfield keeps track of how many of each type of mission you complete from the Mission Boards.
It doesn’t do anything with this information though.
This mod rewards the player for completing missions.
It also applies multipliers to the payout for Cargo and Passenger missions when you hit milestones.
Buy various items by completing missions:
Clothing, Spacesuits, Weapons, Signs, Containers, etc.
You get Award Plaques when you hit milestones.
You can hang them on the wall of your ship, outpost or home.
Note: This mod does not add any new missions.
Space Trucker Services Terminal:
Everything revolves around the terminal you can build in a ship, outpost, apartment or house.
There are variations of the terminal for: United Colonies, Freestar Collective, Ryujin, Hose Varuun, Crimson Fleet.
The terminal is built from the “Displays” category of build menu. Look for the yellow ST icon.
You can build as many terminals as you want. They cost 500 credits each.
When you access the terminal, it calculates how many missions you have completed and awards you with “Space Bucks”.
You use Space Bucks to buy items from the terminal.
Items to buy:
Clothing:
Various Space Trucker items.
A special outfit that increases persuasion chance.
A Captain’s Outfit and hat that increases crew command ability.
Spacesuits:
The standard Space Trucker suits are very weak so they aren’t useful for very long.
You can buy “Enhanced” variations that have higher ratings and legendary effects.
The suits are at the highest quality for your current level when you buy them. They won’t be over or under powered…
Later in the game you can always buy them again to get higher quality.
Weapons:
Mine Conversion Bench: Converts all of your mines into the grenades of your choice.
Various weapons that a Space Trucker might use. Most have enhanced damage, mag size and legendary effects.
They are the highest quality for your current level.
Signs:
Various space truckin’ signs, shipping company advertisements, etc.
Containers:
Giant size plushie and toy containers. The magic 8-ball and more…
Containers are safe to store items in.
In-Flight Snacks for Passengers
Large table and small fridge with free Boom Pop, Centauri Mills snacks, and Chunks.
For passengers only! Hands off…
Uses vending machine scripts but are set to restock after 4 days.
Outpost Services:
A lot of the space trucking gameplay requires outposts.
Outpost Services allows you to buy the resources to easily build them.
Buy outpost supply kits:
Kits are contained in a Data Slate shipment contract.
Place the Data Slate into a container to have it deliver the resources.
Later, you can delete the outpost and have Outpost Services PACK-UP
all of the resources into a Data Slate for use at another location.
Outpost Containers:
When you buy an outpost supply kit you get a large capacity container to store it in.
You can also buy a 2,000 unit linked container for harvesting resources into. It will cost you though…
Production Rate Multiplier:
Let’s face it. The rate of resource extraction is WAY TOO SLOW to be a practical source of income.
The multiplier is set from a terminal menu and allows for up to 6 times production rate of Inorganic and Organic resource extraction.
Ship Landing Marker:
There is a new “Landing Pad” type that has some rotating lights.
It allows you to place it directly under an already landed ship directly at the flat landing area.
There is no ship builder though.
Space Trucker Alert Services:
There are some missions that are given to you which you don’t have time to do.
The S.T.A.S. menu is like a CB radio.
Send out an alert about a distress call, etc. Someone will answer and take the mission off your plate.
You earn some Space Bucks too!
Space Truckin’ Manual:
The terminal has a manual that explains the various aspects of this mod.
There is also a free “Space Truckers Guide to the Settled Systems” Data Slate for when you are on the move…
Notes:
EVERYTHING RESETS IN NG+
So you get to do it all over again!
By default, Starfield does not count how many times you complete the Staryard supply mission: Drydock Blues.
This mod adds a function to monitor this mission and increment a new counter.
This mod cannot count the number of times you have already done the mission if you install it on an existing character. It will start at zero.
The Cargo, Passenger and Supply missions are already counted by Starfield.
Other mods that add these types of missions will work IF they increment the counter variables.
Currently, Dark Universe Overtime does not, so doing those missions will not add to your count.
Put in a request to the mod authors if you want.
This mod is looking at the following Global Variables:
MB_MissionsCompleted01Cargo
MB_MissionsCompleted02Passenger
MB_MissionsCompleted05Supply
There are no new Clothing, Spacesuit or Weapon models or skins.
I don’t have that ability.
Supply Missions:
The supply missions (Supply Iron to Jemison for example) are really buggy.
Be sure to use my other mod:
Supply Mission Fix
or they won’t really work past the first few…
I would also recommend my other mod:
Higher Amounts in Supply Missions
to increase the qty of the supply missions.
By default, most are too low of a reward to even bother…
Conflicting Mods:
This other mod that I made SHOULD NOT be used with Space Truckin Plus
Cargo and Passenger Mission Reward Boost at Starfield Nexus – Mods and Community
Space Truckin Plus will do the same thing, eventually…
If it’s already in your load order, load Space Truckin Plus AFTER it, or just unload it.
STP will eventually re-calculate the correct reward amounts.
