Makes a number of dataslates use a different model to add variety to slates that you find throughout the settled systems
Ever think the dataslates you find throughout the settled systems needed more appearance variety? Maybe you had the kid stuff trait and noticed your parents slates were a different model, or you noticed the slates you get from Vae Victis are also a different model. Well look no further!
Expanded Dossier changes 79 slates so that they now use the alternate slate model “UCIntDossier”, normally only 9 slates use this model and I felt that number was too small and the game needed more variation. If you want to see exactly which BOOK forms that I changed you can check out this image, unless you want to be pleasantly surprised while you play.
The textures for both dataslate models have been upscaled to 2k (I was going to do 4k but there wasn’t enough fidelity change to warrant the much larger file sizes).
This is a small master ESM created with CreationKit. The FOMOD installer provides options to use a BA2 archive or Loose files if you prefer that.
If you are using a plugin management tool like Vortex you should just need to install this and that’s it.
Otherwise make sure to add the “PXC_ExpandedDossier.esm” to your plugins.txt
FOMOD Options
There are two versions which you can choose from:
Standard: This just changes 79 BOOK forms to use the UCIntDossier model instead.
Renamed: This is the same as Standard but uses the naming from Eli’s Renamed Crimson Fleet Evidence for the CF evidence slates. If you use this version you can uninstall Eli’s mod as it will be redundant at that point, but please make sure you have endorsed their mod if you have been using it before you remove it!
Load Order Considerations
If you are using any of my other dataslate mods (I have a few coming soon also) then you should load this mod BEFORE any of those mods. Otherwise you won’t have the correct textures.
Since this mod changes existing BOOK forms, any other mod that also modifies the same forms will have conflicts. The primary conflict would be that it no longer uses the UCIntDossier model, or it does but doesn’t have whatever the other mod had changed. I am open to patches for other mods, so if you have a mod that conflicts feel free to let me know and I will see what I can do.
